Dr. Ann Yufa is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon dedicated to delivering high-quality, modern vascular care to patients in California’s Central Valley. She is particularly focused on limb salvage and using advanced techniques to relieve pain, heal wounds, and prevent amputation, while maintaining long-term relationships with her patients.
Dr. Yufa was born in Los Angeles and raised in Colton, California. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology with minors in Biomedical Research and Public Health. During this time, she performed cancer research at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center under Dennis Slamon. She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine, where she completed an additional research and teaching year and was recognized with multiple honors, including a full-tuition scholarship and induction as a Gold Humanism Honor Society Scholar. Dr. Yufa completed an integrated vascular surgery training at Jefferson Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Her training spanned both an inner-city Level I trauma center and a high-volume suburban hospital with extensive experience in acute aortic syndromes, complex peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access, venous disease, and chronic limb-threatening ischemia in diverse patient populations.
Her academic work during residency includes peer-reviewed publications on complex endovascular interventions, venous disease, and aortic disease. She is a co-inventor on several U.S. patents. She currently serves as teaching faculty for the general surgery residency program at San Joaquin General Hospital.
Dr. Yufa is fluent in English and Russian and welcomes patients from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Outside of the hospital, she is a former competitive junior tennis player who enjoys staying active and traveling.
